We do not charge the children or schools who attend SAMBER, in order to make the sessions as inclusive as possible. And contrary to popular belief, RDA Groups (which are all run individually) do not receive any regular income from the Riding for the Disabled Association. Instead, we rely on the generosity of donations and plenty of fundraising from our own hard-working volunteers.
A gift of money to SAMBER could be used for;
- Buying new equipment and toys to enhance the riding experience for our children (£10 could buy bean bags or soft toys)
- Buying safety equipment (eg £60 buys a pair of safety stirrups)
- Paying for our insurance to keep everyone safe (nearly £500 per year)
- Hiring the indoor school to keep the children sheltered from the weather (£1500 per year)
If you would like to donate, however big or small an amount, we would be exceedingly grateful!
