On Thursday 14th May 2008, SAMBER took a full complement of volunteers along to the RDA Fancy Dress competition at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.  Thank you to everyone who came along to support SAMBER in the new Copper Horse Arena.  This year we came sixth, with our interpretation on the theme Nursery Rhymes; a very wise Owl and an oh-so-cute Pussycat sailing off in a Peagreen Boat from Edward Lear’s childrens’ poem.

mobiles The National RDA is also holding a collection for mobile phones and used printer cartridges, again to re-use and recycle them. We have special envelopes with bar codes to ensure any money raised comes directly back to SAMBER. If you have phones or cartridges that you would like to donate, please visit inkagain.co.uk to ensure they can use it, then email SAMBER so we can supply you with the relevant barcode and envelopes.

CDs
A collection for CD’s and DVD’s is currently underway at the SAMBER Group. We will be sending a large box full of unwanted music and films to be re-used or recycled, and in doing so, raise money for SAMBER. For more information and details of where to send your old CD’s and DVD’s, please visit CD’s for Good Causes. Remember to ask that the cheque they send back be payable to the RDA SAMBER Group - thank you!
